Ramos, Salazar Endorse Hoylman For Manhattan Borough President
Lower Manhattan State Senator Brad Hoylman landed two major endorsements in his quest for the Manhattan Borough President's office.

LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — Lower Manhattan State Senator Brad Hoylman just landed two major endorsements in his bid to become the next Manhattan Borough President.
Prominent New York State Senators Jessica Ramos and Julia Salazar both endorsed Hoylman on Friday, citing the West Village representative's strong stance on social justice issues during his time in the State Senate.
"Senators Salazar and Ramos brought transformative change to the State Senate and I am honored to receive their endorsements," Hoylman said in a news release. "I am so proud of my record in the Senate, working alongside Ramos and Salazar on rent relief, criminal justice reform, and climate action, and I am energized by the prospect of bringing those progressive fights to this borough."

Salazar and Ramos join an impressive list of political clubs and elected officials across Manhattan that have already endorsed Hoylman for Manhattan Borough President.
"Brad Hoylman isn't just on the right side of the big progressive causes of our time, he's there leading the fight," Ramos said in a news release. "Whether it's protecting tenants, fairness for immigrants, or repealing Trump's corporate tax cuts to make sure the wealthiest start paying their fair share. I know Brad will make a great Borough President."

Salazar added, "Brad's a powerful voice for social justice in the State Senate and I know he'll make a great Borough President for Manhattan. I'm proud to endorse him."
