WEST VILLAGE, NY — Someone stole Sarah Jessica Parker's array of pumpkins right off her West Village stoop, the "Sex and the City" star said in an Instagram post.

"It is officially the Halloween heist of 2019," Parker said in a video, telling the tale overlooking her empty brownstone stoop. "My husband stated, 'Decency is dead.'"

Parker said her un-carved pumpkins, and those of her neighbor's, were stolen from their West Village stoop sometime Tuesday night.

Her family lugged the pumpkins back from the Berkshires in Massachusetts only to have her pumpkin carving plans spoiled, according to her Instagram post Wednesday.

The actress, who also had roles in "Hocus Pocus" and, more recently, in the HBO series "Divorce," stayed upbeat about the pumpkin burglary.

"But we will salvage the intended carving," she said. "We will find some last minute pumpkins, and we will hope that this case does not remain cold."

One Instagram commenter wrote in, "Oh my gourd, someone is trying to squash the spirit of Halloween."

Another said, "Unthinkable ... who does that?"

Parker herself mused, "that is the question!"
