Three Owls Market And Cafe To Open In The West Village
Suzanne Dumaine brings Three Owls Market to the West Village on Monday.
WEST VILLAGE, NY — A new cafe and market is opening in the West Village Monday.
Suzanne Dumaine, who developed recipes for Plated.com and published the cookbook, 'Plated,' is opening Three Owls Market — inspired by bustling neighborhood delis in New York City and Europe's gourmet markets.
The 24-seat cafe with a market and deli-style counter serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, to-stay or to-go, will open Monday at 800 Washington St. between Horatio and Gansevoort Sts.

The restaurant will serve a variety of vegetable dishes and rotisserie chicken as well as gourmet sandwiches. Pastries made in-house and La Colombe coffee will be served for breakfast.
Grocery staples, Italian specialty goods, craft beers, seasonal wines will also be sold at the restaurant's market space.

Dumaine, the owner of the new cafe, was previously the culinary operations director at Plated. She has also worked for Food Network and the Cooking Channel.
