Watch A Rainbow Of 10,000 Balloons Being Blown Up To Celebrate NYC Pride
The balloons will decorate NYC Pride sponsor's Squarespace space through June 26.
WEST VILLAGE, MANHATTAN – A giant rainbow made of 10,000 balloons will cover the front of the one of NYC Pride's sponsors in celebration of the event.
Squarespace, a tech company based on Clarkson Street in Greenwich Village, started blowing up the balloons at 7 a.m. Friday. The job was expected to take all day.
The 500-pound structure will be more than five stories tall, with each balloon ranging in size from 8 inches to 8 feet. It's being built by Jihan Zencirli, founder of Geronimo Balloons.
