West Village Fire Sends 4 People To The Hospital: FDNY

A firefighter was among four people taken to the hospital after flames broke out early Wednesday morning in a West Village home, FDNY said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A West Village fire that broke out just after midnight on Wednesday sent four people to the hospital, including one firefighter, according to the FDNY.

The flames ignited on the fourth floor of an apartment building at 75 Bank Street, according to the FDNY.

A spokesperson from the fire department told Patch that the flames were under control by 12:56 a.m.
