WEST VILLAGE, NY — As vaccinations hit millions of arms and the city slowly reopens, New Yorkers are getting back on the subway. In another sign of the return of normality, they're also dealing with a multitude of weekend service changes.

Riders are returning to the rails in record numbers, but getting around this weekend is still going to be tough with many lines disrupted in the name of "upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service."
