2017 Primary Election Preview: Suffolk County 11th Legislative District - Republican
Mike McElwee, son-in-law of current legislator Thomas Barraga, and Steven Flotteron will both be running for the Republican spot.

This Tuesday, residents will be voting in several local primary elections to choose the candidates to run on Election Day on Nov. 8.
Voters will get the chance to elect the Republican candidate for Suffolk County Legislator - 11th District.
Currently, the seat is occupied by Thomas Barraga (R) who will not be seeking re-election due to reaching his term limits.
