2018 Election Preview: New York's 9th Assembly District

LONG ISLAND, NY - The 2018 midterm elections are quickly approaching and New York voters have several important decisions to make

Long Island residents will get a chance to vote for the representative of New York's Ninth Assembly District this Election Day.

Here's what you need to know before heading out to the polls this November:

Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 6

Polling Times: Polls will open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Candidates: Incumbent Christine Pellegrino (D) will be challenged by Michael LiPetri (R).

District: The ninth Assembly District of New York includes a portion of the Town of Oyster Bay, a part of the Town of Babylon and some of West Islip.
