21-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Crashing Car Into Pillar: PD
The crash was reported early Saturday.
WEST ISLIP, NY - A 21-year-old West Islip man was seriously injured after crashing his car into a Sunrise Highway overpass on Saturday morning, according to Suffolk Police.
Brandon Johnson was driving a 2006 Dodge Charger northbound on Udall Road in West Islip when he lost control of the car under the Route 27 overpass and crashed into a concrete pillar at 3 a.m., police said.
He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip in serious condition.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
