In celebration of Earth Day, students at West Islip’s Beach Street Middle School
created chandelier sculptures out of repurposed water bottles, in the style of artist Dale
Chihuly.

“These sculptures are a beautiful addition to our Beach Street lobby,” art teacher Jill Culver said. “It remains a perfect reminder of students working together to help the environment for the greater good, while making the world a more beautiful place.”
