Broadway for Broke People!
Theatre enthusiast Brian Stoll shares how he turned his passion for theatre into a business.
Greetings,
I am a 30-year-old theatre and entertainment professional from (West Islip) Long Island. I fell in love with Broadway while attending Binghamton University. This is where I found out that with my student ID I was able to buy same day tickets to Broadway productions for dirt cheap! Yes, I had to schlep ALL THE WAY to Binghamton to fall in love with theatre :) Since graduating college in 2011, I have seen over 160 Broadway Shows and rarely pay more than $50 a ticket!
I recently turned my passion for the arts into a business, Stoll The Show, delivering interactive programs about Broadway at libraries across Long Island. This all snowballed from a 20-minute Presentation I delivered in 2016 at Stony Brook University on the history of the Broadway Playbill.

Last year, I presented my first Broadway based program to over 500 Patrons in 30 Libraries across the Island. My goal is to encourage Long Islanders to support the arts and take advantage of our proximity to Broadway and beyond!
Here are the advertisements for my programs as seen in library newsletters of the of the locations I have previously presented at:
