County Poet Laureate Visits Manetuck Students
Ed Stever, Poet Laureate of Suffolk County, read some of his poems to students in his grandson's class.

In honor of poerty month, Mr. Ed Stever, the Poet Laureate of Suffolk County (2011-2013), came into our classroom to read some of his personal poetry to the class. Mr. Stever happens to be the grandfather of Manetuck student Christian O'Connor. He read poems about his children, his wife and even a poem entitled "Christian" about his grandson on the pitcher's mound.
