Crane Music Faculty Gives Special Performance At Local School
The Potsdam Brass Quintet, an acclaimed faculty ensemble from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, recently visited West Islip HS.
From West Islip School District: The Potsdam Brass Quintet, an acclaimed faculty ensemble from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, recently visited West Islip High School, giving a special performance for approximately 350 music students, followed by a question-and-answer session.
A few weeks later, two professors from Crane’s string faculty presented a short recital followed by a collaboration with the West Islip High School Chamber Orchestra that included a rehearsal and master class.
