South shore eateries will be served up dishes from some of the finest restaurants for a low price of $27.95 during the annual Long Island Restaurant week, which will take place from Sunday, Nov. 3 through Sunday, Nov. 10. Â
Over 150 restaurants are participating. Included in the prix fixe menu prices is a three-course meal every night with the exception of Saturdays when prix fixe dinners will only be served until 7 p.m.Â
Restaurant week found its beginnings on the east end in 2003 and was organized by East End public relations firm WordHampton. Â The promotion's marketing success prompted an annual Long Island week of affordable meals from top chefs at some of the most expensive restaurants.Â
