Farmingdale State College Hires New Academic Adviser

West Islip resident Matthew James D’Angelo has joined Farmingdale State College as academic adviser in the Academic Advisement and Information Center.

D’Angelo has Farmingdale roots, having taught in the sport management department from 2012-2014. He was an adviser at Ball State University, and more recently, Eagle Hill Preparatory School in Massachusetts. Much of his career has been involved in athletics, from men’s golf coach at SUNY Old Westbury to interning with the U.S. Olympic Committee in 2011. He holds two degrees in Sport Management from West Virginia University.
