As a young scout, Deah had a love for science, which wasn’t what other young girls appreciated. She wanted to share her passion while making it fun for other junior members of local Girl Scout Troops. As her Gold Award project, she developed fun activities demonstrating Stem Science technology to more than 200 seven to twelve-year-old Girl Scout members within the West Islip Elementary and Middle Schools over three months.

Ms. Zajmi is a freshman at Worcester Polly Technical School in Massachusetts studying Chemical Engineering.
