Host Families wanted to host International High Schoolers!

We are seeking a wonderful host family for 2 male Chinese high school students for the 2017/2018 school year. Students will attend a private school in West Islip (Montauk Hwy/Robert Moses Causeway) and need a host family from late-August 2017 to June 2018.

Basic requirements for hosting a student:

• 2 Private, fully-furnished bedroom
• Meals (lunch served at school)
• Wi-Fi access
• Transportation to/from school (school busing avail. and dependent on your school district's policy)
• Monthly student status report sent to My International Family
• Willingness to attend occasional school events or parent-teacher conferences
• A warm and welcoming home environment

MORE INFO ABOUT HOSTING: Students arrive with an intermediate English level, have their own medical insurance, and come with spending money for personal expenses and activities. We hope to provide our students with great host families who can offer a warm, welcoming environment while studying in the USA. Hosts in every stage of life and those with or without children are encouraged to apply. Eligible hosts will have a clean, well-maintained home, successfully pass a criminal background check, and speak English fluently.

COMPENSATION: Host is paid $1200.00 (per student) per month for private room, meals, and transportation to/from school. Compensation is divided into 2 pay periods per month and sent via check from My International Family. (Student is responsible for all personal costs for personal toiletries, medical, travel, entrance fees/tickets, etc.)
