Mark Engelhardt, Concert Organist to play at St. Peter's-by-the Sea in Bay Shore
Mark Engelhardt to open the 2014-2015 Music at St. Peter's Concert Series
Sunday, October 5 at 4:00 pm, Mark Engelhardt, Concert Organist and Director of Music at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Bay Shore, will open the 2014-2015 Music at St. Peter’s Concert Series with an organ recital of music of French and American composers. The program will include music of French composers Jean Langlais, Camille Saint-Saens, Eugene Reuchsel, and C. M. Widor. American composers include Craig Phillips, James Woodman, and Carson Cooman. Featured on the program will be the world-premiere performance of “I Heard the Voice” by Cambridge (MA) composer James Woodman, and the New York premiere of “Canzona IV” by Carson Cooman. A wine and cheese reception will follow the program. Suggested donation for both is $20/$15 for students and seniors and AGO Members.
