"We're very excited to be here in West Babylon, the community has really welcomed us," the Miller Place resident said. "They waited a long time for us to open."
The gym uses a specific 60 minute workout based on what they call the "orange theory" which works on getting your heart in the "orange zone," meaning you are getting the most cardiac benefit and burning the most calories.

Those who spend 12 minutes in the "orange zone" can burn up to 1,000 calories. To get there, members switch between working out on the treadmill, the rower, or the weight room doing weight based exercises.
Each class has a trainer giving instructions to the three different groups.
"Many clients are already telling us the benefits of joining and they are very excited they join," Ferrall said.
Some have already started to see the benefits of the results, According to Ferrall the general manager of the OrangeTheory, who is a member herself, has lost a total of 90 pounds since starting at the gym three years ago. In addition, another associate lost a total of 110 pounds through working out at the OrangeTheory.
"It's a results based gym," he said. "It's very impactful."
In addition, during the soft opening Farrell says that on two separate occasions, clients have cried happy tears and received applause from the other members after finishing the workouts.
There are currently 16 OrangeTheory locations on Long Island. According to the OrangeTheory website, there are 5 additional gyms coming soon in Seaford, Bay Shore, Greenvale, Smithtown and Port Jefferson Station.
Ferrall also said he will be overseeing a second OrangeTheory gym, which will be opening in Rocky Point in 2020.
