New West Islip Brewery To Open This Weekend
The highly-anticipated Secatogue Brewery will finally be opening soon. Get a sneak peek of the space before grabbing a beer.
WEST ISLIP, NY - Beer lovers rejoice! The highly anticipated new brewery in West Islip will finally start serving customers this weekend.
Secatogue Brewery, located on 375 Union Boulevard, is set to open its doors starting Friday, May 3.
Owner Ken Srubinski says the hours for opening weekend will be Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Srubinski also says customers can expect "easy drinking, crushable beer" with no bitterness.
"We just want something for everyone to enjoy," he told Patch. "Even if you're not a craft beer person or an IPA person you will still find something good."

Among some of the beers that will be offered include:
- This Is Heavy Doc (New England style, hazy IPA, fruity)
- Ya Dun Know Azacca (dry hop IPA, single hop, fruity)
- Cosmic Blonde (easy drinking, summer type beer)
- Screaming Cowboy (double dry hop IPA)
- Pink Hibiscus IPA (IPA made way hibiscus petals)
- Agave Trigo (Blue Moon type beer with agave syrup)
