No Serious Injuries Reported In West Islip Car Fire

WEST ISLIP, NY - A car burst into flames after a crash in West Islip on Sunday night.

The West Islip Fire Department responded to Montauk Highway and McCall Avenue at about 6:43 p.m.

Upon arrival, first assistant chief Michael Cooper confirmed it was a two-car crash with one of the cars on fire.

Suffolk Police also responded to the crash. It took 10 minutes to bring the fire under control.

No serious injuries were reported.
