Visitation: Saturday, April 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Monday, May 1 starting 9:30 a.m. Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 455 Hunter Avenue in West Islip.

Obituary: Lieutenant Colonel Edward A. Kelly Jr. USMC, of West Islip, passed away on Wednesday, April 26. He was 85.

Beloved husband of Sheryl and the late Frances. Devoted father of Maureen (John) Griffin, Edward A. (Donna) Kelly, III, Kathleen (Patrick) Mahon and Joan Kelly.

Adored grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of five. Loving brother of Patricia Hopkins. Dear step-father of Susan Michel and William Stegemann and step-grandfather of two.

Internment will take place at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram.
