Visitation: Thursday, May 10 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Friday, May 11 starting at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 455 Hunter Avenue in West Islip

Obituary: Eileen Violetto, of West Islip, passed away on Sunday, May 6. She was 88

She was born in Brooklyn, on August 25, 1929.

Eileen was predeceased in live by her husband John Dominic Violetto as well as her son John Violetto Jr.

She is survived by her son Kenneth and his wife Linda, her son Bryan and his wife Michelle, and her daughter Candace.

In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, Kenneth (Janine), Roseann, Austin (Keri), Amanda, Julianna and Nicholas as well as her great-grandchildren John, Vincent and Weston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local area hospice.

Internment will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Middle Village.
