Obituary: Jeff Kempf, Ex-West Islip Fire Chief, Dies At 60
The grandfather of 3 passed away after battling with cancer since 2018.

Died: August 10, 2019
Visitation: Monday, August 12 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Tuesday, August 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the West Islip Fire Department on 309 Union Boulevard in West Islip.
Service: A firematic service will be held on Tuesday, August 13 starting at 7 p.m. and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 14 starting at 12 p.m. both at the West Islip Fire Department

Obituary: Jeff "Jocko," Kempf, of West Islip, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10 after battling cancer since last November. He was 60.
Kempf was a 43 year member, lifetime Raider, and ex-chief of the West Islip Fire Department.

He was predeceased by his daughter Crystle Ann.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Kempf as well as his children; Jennifer (Albert) and Jeffrey Jr. (Samantha).
In addition, Kempf is survived by his grandchildren Jiavana, Aiden, and Jeffrey III as well as his siblings George, Thomas, and Debby Kempf.
Interment will take place at the North Babylon Cemetery in North Babylon.
