Obituary: Regina O'Keefe, of West Islip, Dies at 54

Died: April 23, 2017

Visitation: Tuesday, April 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Fredrick J. Chapey and Sons Funeral Home on 1225 Montauk Highway in West Islip.

Service: Wednesday, April 26 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church on 455 Hunter Avenue in West Islip.

Obituary: Regina Marie O'Keefe, of West Islip, passed away on Sunday, April 23. She was 54.

She was a teacher at the Garden City Park School and the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District for over 30 years.

O'Keefe was predeceased in life by her brother, William Hettrich.

She is survived by children Dennis, Kevin and Colleen O'Keefe as well as siblings; Eileen Karam, Ronald Karam, Paul Hettrich, Kathy Hettrich, Michael Hettrich and Kathleen Schiller.

In addition, she is survived by nieces and nephews; Brain Hettrich, Matthew Hettrich, Thomas Karam, Gregory Karam, Lauren Karam, Douglas Schiller, Vikki Schiller, Chrissy Schiller, Thomas O'Keefe, Ryan O'Keefe, Steven O'Keefe, Sean O'Keefe, Matthew O'Keefe Megan O'Keefe, Connor O'Keefe, Kristen O'Keefe, Cali O'Keefe, Christopher O'Keefe, Andrew O'Keefe, Jennifer O'Keefe and Billy O'Keefe.
