Save the Date: Good Sam Tree Lighting, Angels Program Kicks Off

Santa will be on hand as will carolers on Dec. 7

Good Samaritan Hospital is kicking off its "Christmas Angels" program and has set a date for its annual tree lighting holiday event.

The Angles effort is a way for resident to honor someone with a special remembrance. By making a donation an angel will be displayed in the hospital lobby in the name requested by the donor. For a $10 donation a card will be sent to the honoree or family of the memorialized, and for $15 an angel bearing their name will be hung in the hospital lobby. Larger donations, from $100 to $1,000 will also get recognizition at the tree lighting event.

The tree celebration on Saturday, Dec. 7 will run from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the front parking lot of the hospital. Santa will be on hand as well as carolors. Inside the lobby there will be a giant snow globe display as well as refreshments.
