Long Island Weather Forecast: Snow Expected Tuesday
It could be a rough ride home from work today.

Long Island dodged snow on Monday, but the National Weather Service says there's a 90 percent chance of snow Tuesday.
Snow is likely to begin late in the morning and continue through the afternoon, the NWS says. The snow will taper off in the evening. Rain could mix with snow along the South Shore by mid-afternoon.
A total of 1-2 inches of snow is likely to accumulate across the island.

There's about a 45 percent of more than inch of snow on the island Tuesday and about a 25 percent chance of more than two inches.
Once the snow ends, the rest of the week is expected to be quite sunny and dry. But forecasters are closely watching a system that could potentially bring snow to the island on Super Bowl Sunday.
