Teen Driver Crashes Car Into House, Passenger Seriously Injured
Four teens were hurt, one seriously, in the Long Island crash early Saturday.

BAY SHORE, NY — A teenage driver crashed a car into a house in Bay Shore which injured four teens, one seriously, early Saturday, according to Suffolk Police. The 16-year-old from Brentwood was driving a Jeep northbound on Bay Shore Road near Thompson Drive, when he lost control of the car and crashed into a house on Bay Shore Road at 1:05 a.m.
The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of minor injuries. Two of the passengers in the Jeep, a 15-year-old Brentwood male and 17-year-old Brentwood female were also transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Another passenger, a 16-year-old Brentwood female, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
