Temps to Dip Into 30s: This Week's Long Island Weather
The wind will make it feel even colder as Long Island gets a taste of winter this week. Check out the full forecast.
Go find that winter coat. After some summer-like weather last week, this week will see temperatures plunge into the 30s on Long Island.
Monday is expected to be the warmest day of the workweek, with a high near 61 degrees, the National Weather Service says. Come Wednesday, the mercury will struggle to reach 50 during the day and then crank up that heat overnight as temperatures will fall to the mid-30s.
The cool push will be accompanied by blustery conditions, which could knock down and blow around unsecured Halloween decorations, according to AccuWeather.
