Truck Stolen From West Islip Home
The thief is still at large after a 2007 Ford Expedition was stolen from a local home early Friday.

WEST ISLIP, NY — Suffolk police are investigating after a truck was stolen from a West Islip home last week.
A woman reported her 2007 Ford Expedition was stolen from outside of a home on Udalia Road on Friday at 3 a.m., police said. No arrests have been made yet.
The woman who reported the incident told Patch that the truck thief was wearing a Bulls sweatshirt and had a very distinct lined beard and hair. She also shared a photo of the truck (above) but clarified that the truck was not decorated when it was stolen.

The woman also said that there have been several reports of people breaking into cars in the area, including one down the street.
