Udall Jazz Band Offers Smooth Solos For Sunrise Seniors
Udall Road Middle School Jazz Band presented a holiday concert for residents of the Sunrise of West Babylon assisted living facility.
From Syntax: Guided by the school’s band director, Lu Ann Peskanov, West Islip students in the Udall Road Middle School Jazz Band presented a Dec. 21 holiday concert for the residents of the Sunrise of West Babylon assisted living facility.
The talented young musicians, ranging in age from 12-14, smoothly demonstrated superior skill on their instruments and even took improvised solos, to the delight of the senior citizens in attendance.
