Udall’s Young Mathematicians Dominate Contest

Three students at West Islip’s Udall Road Middle School recently placed in the top 4 in the region in the Math League’s 2020-2021 seventh grade math contest. Dana Shi finished first in Suffolk County, Cindy Lin finished second and sixth grader Meghan Farrell – a sixth grader competing above her grade level – finished fourth. As a school, Udall placed first overall in the region.

“I’m very proud of all the kids and can’t wait to see how they do next year,” algebra teacher Larry Sciarrino said.
