WATCH: Man Barely Dodges Car Before It Plows Into Business

Police say an 86-year-old man was driving the car. He and his wife were hurt. A pedestrian jumped out of the way just in time. Video inside.

WEST ISLIP, NY – Two people were hurt and a pedestrian certainly dodged serious injuries when a car plowed into a West Islip business Tuesday afternoon.

According to Suffolk Police, an 86-year-old man was driving a Subaru Forester when it struck Hometown Insurance Agency at 632 Union Boulevard at about 2:40 p.m. The man and his 82-year-old wife were transported to a Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip with minor injuries.
