Wednesday At The Library: Hearing Screenings

Happening tomorrow at the West Islip Public Library: 

• Hearing Screening 
10 a.m. 
Come in for a free hearing screening conducted by Long Island Hearing, Inc. A copy of the screening results will be given to each individual tested, along with the appropriate recommendation for further audiometric testing, if necessary. During the informational seminar, they will provide information about hearing loss and hearing aids, as well as answer questions.

• Egyptian Papyrus and Hieroglyphs — Grades: 4-6
7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Participants will make their very own rhubarb or celery papyrus/paper in the same style as ancient Egyptians and then learn to write his/her name in Egyptian hieroglyphs on scrolls to take home.
