West Islip Agenda: Free Concerts, Seafood Under The Stars
Here's what's happening across West Islip: July 29-Aug 3.

Monday is here once again. Start off the week by finding out what's happening in and around West Islip.Â
The Symphonic Band of Bay Shore-Brightwaters will perform a free concert at the Band Shell on Main Street in Downtown Bay Shore on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, the West Islip Symphony Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. at the fields behind West Islip Library. In case of rain, the concert will be held down the street at West Islip High School.Â
On Thursday, join the Block Island Seafood Company on the Library patio for ‘Seafood Under the Stars.’ From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Chef Craig will be grilling up citrus marinated shrimp to serve over roasted corn salsa and salmon steaks served with his mother’s potato salad. There is a $5 fee due at registration.Â
Stop by West Islip Wines and Liquors on Friday at 4 p.m. for a free tasting of Murhphy Goode, Kendall Jackson and La Crema wines.Â
