West Islip Gymnast Coll Earns All-County Honors
Senior was one of four girls from school who qualified for Suffolk individual championships.
Senior Lauren Coll led a quartet of West Islip High School gymnasts who qualified for the Suffolk County individual championships, held at Babylon High School on Nov. 6.
Coll qualified in the balance beam for the fourth time in her high school career, and earned her fourth all-county honor. Junior Hanna Battaglini competed on the uneven bars, balance beam and in floor exercises; sophomore Caitlyn Leibman participated on the uneven bars and floor exercise; and freshman Kimberly Arena competed in the vault.
