West Islip Gymnasts Recognized At Annual Awards Dinner

WEST ISLIP, NY - West Islip High School’s gymnastics team recently received multiple honors at the Suffolk County Girls Gymnastics Coaches Association awards dinner.

The team received three All-County nods, seven All-League, one Honorable Mention All-League and a Scholar-Athlete award.

Kim Areana, Emily McGrade and Alyssa Woltmann earned All-County status.

Cassidy Cullen, Nele Gronenberg, Olivia Marker, Faith McCann, Rebecca McCann, Theresa Rand and Delaney Rivera were named All-League.

Grace Iehle earned Honorable Mention All-League.

In addition, Cullen was also recognized as a Scholar-Athlete.
