WEST ISLIP, NY - Looks like the igloo trend won't be melting away any time soon. In keeping up with the new trend, a West Islip restaurant announced it will be offering an outdoor igloo dining experience this winter. Primi Italian Steakhouse, located on 999 Montauk Highway, set up two igloos for customers to be able to dine outdoors all throughout the cooler months.
Primi is now the fifth Long Island restaurants to offer the igloos. The Oar Steak and Seafood Grill in Patchogue, Gurney's in Montauk, Maxwell's in Islip and Rhum in Patchogue all also hopped on the igloo trend this winter.
At Primi, the cost for dining in one of the restaurant's igloos is a minimum of $200 for two hours. Up to eight people can stay in an igloo at a time. The full eatery menu will be offered in the igloos.
