Five local freshman runners recently won the League III freshman championship.
Five West Islip High School’s girls cross-country freshman runners recently raced to victory during a recent championship race.
Alexa Boniberger, Gia Genna, Jenna Ostrove, Taylor Reilly-Dixon and Joey Vilardi won the League III freshman championship at Sunken Meadow on Oct. 28.
