West Islip Used Car Business on Zoning Board Agenda

The Town of Islip Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings Tuesday night on two local proposals.

NFR Properties is seeking a modification of deed covenants and restrictions to use the northwest corner of Sunrise Highway and West Third Street, in West Islip, for a used car sale lot.

Rosalie Enterprises LLC is seeking a change of zone from Business One to Business Two, as well as a special permit, for a convenience market on the northeast corner of Bay Shore Road and Bay Shore Avenue, Bay Shore. The application also includes a modification of covenants and restrictions, as well as site plan modifications.

The hearings begin at 7:30 p.m. at the town board room at Islip Town Hall.
