West Islip's Undefeated Varsity Football Team to Host Playoff Game

The undefeated West Islip High School’s varsity football team will be hosting the first rounds of the playoffs this weekend.

The team just completed an undefeated regular season, finishing as 2016 Division II champions.

The Lions will be hosting the game against the Smithtown East’s Bulls this Saturday, Nov. 5 starting at 1:30 p.m.

“Congratulations to coach Steve Mileti, his staff and the entire 2016 varsity football team on a great regular season,” Athletic Director Tim Horan said. “Good luck in the playoffs!”
