WIHS Common Hope Vision Team Fundraises for Trip to Guatemala
Dine at Buffalo Wild Wings in North Babylon on Wednesday and 15 percent of the proceeds will help fund the group's goodwill trip.
Students from West Islip High School are holding a fundraiser Wednesday to help raise money to fund a goodwill service trip to Guatemala.
The fundraiser will take place all day at Buffalo Wild Wings on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon. To participate, guests can print out the event flyer (pictured above) and bring it to the restaurant in order to have 15 percent of their check donated to the WIHS Common Hope Vision team.
The team will travel to a small town in Guatemala in June to work with local school children and assist in the building of a home for a Guatemalan family.
Common hope is a Minnesota-based organization that works to improve health care, education, housing, and human development in Guatemala.
