Advisories Issued For Wintry Weather In Hudson Valley
Mixed precipitation is expected throughout the region, meteorologists said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With wintry weather in the forecast, the National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisory for parts of the Hudson Valley region. For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties, the advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
Mixed precipitation is expected, with ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch and up to 1 inch of sleet possible.
For Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, the advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. Wednesday to 4 p.m. Thursday.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected, with total snow accumulations of up to 2 inches and ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch.
For those counties, mixed precipitation will change to light rain or drizzle Thursday afternoon.
