Bronx Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said they had a report of a possible stolen car on the Taconic State Parkway.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Bronx man was accused of driving without a license after being stopped for a report of a possible stolen vehicle.
Yorktown police said Irving Gene-Mar Booker, 26, of the Bronx, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, a misdemeanor, and failure to maintain lane, a traffic infraction.
Police said, around 12:40 p.m. Monday, they were notified about a possible stolen vehicle traveling north on the Taconic State Parkway.

An officer on patrol located the car, which was seen not staying in its lane, police said.
With the assistance of several Yorktown police officers, the car was stopped on the parkway near Route 132.

Booker was identified as the driver, police said, and it was determined that the vehicle was not stolen.
However, police said he was driving with a suspended license and was arrested.
Booker was released on his own recognizance after being processed and issued appearance tickets to appear in Yorktown Justice Curt Dec. 10.
