Brush Fire Conditions Widespread In Hudson Valley Monday
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook due to the dry conditions and wind gusts.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Low humidity and wind gusts are forecast for much of the Hudson Valley Monday.
Because of that, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.
The outlook is in effect for Monday.

The weather service said there is the potential for red flag conditions Monday afternoon into early evening with continued dry conditions, northwest wind gusts of 25 to 30 mph and minimum relative humidity values below 30 percent.
A special weather statement, which is also in effect for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, was also issued that said there is an enhanced potential for brush fire spread Monday afternoon because of the low humidity and wind gusts.
