Car Crash Closes Crompond Road For Hours
The investigation is ongoing, Yorktown police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A crash on Route 202 between Pine Grove Court and Garden Lane Friday morning closed the busy northern Westchester highway for almost five hours.
Yorktown police said at 2:06 p.m. that they were not yet releasing any information about their ongoing investigation.
They sent out an alert on Nixle that the road was closed in both directions at 9:21 a.m. and updated it just before 2 p.m. to say that the scene had been cleared and the road was reopening.
