
A 37-year-old Yorktown man is facing an aggravated driving while intoxicated charge, a misdemeanor, for driving with a blood alcohol level of more than 0.18 percent, police said.Â
The man was arrested on Oct. 14 at 5:30 a.m. when police were dispatched to Corner Street on the report of a vehicle stopped in the road and the operator being passed out in the driver’s seat.
Police investigation revealed the man was driving drunk. Following a chemical test, police revealed he had a blood alcohol level of 0.18% or more.
The man was released to a third party and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Nov. 14.Â
