Further investigation found that, after she got out of her car, it was determined she was driving while her ability was impaired by drugs, police said.

Police said Santucci refused to submit to a breath test and she tried to flee from the officers.

After a short foot pursuit, she was placed under arrest, police said, and she physically resisted the officers as they tried to handcuff her.

Santucci was taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

She was issued traffic tickets and an appearance ticket and released to a responsible party.

Santucci is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court June 8.
