Dave Paganelli, Yorktown Highway Superintendent Candidate, Picks Up Several Endorsements

Yorktown Councilman David Paganelli (R, C), who is running for highway superintendent, has picked up several new endorsements, including CSEA Local 860, Teamsters Local 456 and the Westchester/Putnam Buildings and Trades Council.
CSEA Local 860 represents town of Yorktown employees. The Westchester/Putnam Building and Trades Council represents over 25 area unions.
Paganelli was previously endorsed for highway superintendent by the Yorktown Congress of Teachers (Local 1724) and Westchester-Putnam Central Labor Body AFL-CIO, which includes the Lakeland Federation of Teachers (NYSUT Local 1760).
He was one of three Republicans in the county to receive the endorsement, which includes CSEA Unit 9249 (Yorktown School District Custodial), CSEA Unit 9181 (Town of Yorktown Employees) and CSEA Unit 9164-00/01/02 (Lakeland School District Clerical, Transportation and Food Service/Custodial).Â
"I am humbled by the endorsements of these unions that represent so many hardworking residents and employees of our town," Paganelli said.
John Staino, President of CSEA Local 860, said the endorsement acknowledges Paganelli’s interests in the issues affecting workers and his "commitment to addressing the needs of all hard working men and women in [his] district."Â
Edward Doyle, president of Westchester and Putnam Building and Construction Trades Council, also spoke highly of Paganelli.Â
"In such challenging economic times, it is important for workers to have elected officials they can trust," Doyle said. "Dave Paganelli is committed to building bridges and relationships that will insure the future of Yorktown, its residents and employees."
