Head-On Crash Snarls Bear Mountain Parkway Extension

Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision on the Bear Mountain Parkway Extension at Stony Street in Mohegan Lake.

Three patients were treated and transported to local hospitals.

The Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association thanked Empress Emergency Medical Service, Yorktown Paramedics, Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Mobile Life Support Services and Cortlandt Regional Paramedics/Peekskill Professional Firefighters Local 2343 for their mutual aid assistance.

Yorktown Police Department and New York State Police were both at the scene.
